G37s display doesn't indicate what gear I'm in?
Hey guys, Just bought my first g37s. It's a manual, but the screen with the tachometer doesn't show what gear I'm in at all.. No neutral, no 1-6.. no reverse.. nothing.. Does it normally? if not can I add that in? I'd like to have that feature

The gauge cluster does not show gear position on MANUAL TRANSMISSION cars. Never did.
This is about as close as you'll get to that type of feature:
Gaslock Shifter

No stickshift/manual car I've ever owned has done that.

That german company is pretty cool! I suppose this would be useful on a course track, but for the street its just another gimmick. Still pretty fascinating though. I wonder how they do it?
I can't imagine not knowing what gear I'm in. That's kind of weird.
