Hi, I had some time time today to spray the car down and I noticed some water is getting in from the door seal. There is a part where the door arches and the seal in that area is very thin and water is getting behind it and into my driver side floor. I have pictures for better understanding.

It is safe to say that the driver-side grommet is likely not your issue. I'd keep a eye on it but wouldn't stress over it.

Now you can focus on the weatherstripping. This post has the diagrams of the three (3) different seals (upper, lower, and mirror). Some have had luck removing the upper and lower seals, cleaning the frame, and reapplying the seals using new double-sided tape. Then again, others have reported that adjusting the door glass solved their issue. In my case, because my car is "old," I just went ahead and replaced all of the seals.

Unfortunately, this is one of those "trial-and-error" projects. You might resolve it in the first swing, or it may take a few tries to get it right. Just take your time and eventually you will get the leak resolved.

Side note: for general information purposes, the mirror seal can not be removed without taking the interior door panel off. The corner support must be unbolted from the door frame first.

Yea thank you for that information. My car doesn’t have that many miles on it it’s at 70k so ima just go ahed and replace the weather stripping and see how that goes. It should be an easy installation right? Just remove the old one and install the new one with out any disassembling?

No, there will not be any disassembly needed for the upper and lower seals- only the mirror if you choose to replace that one. Once you remove the old seal, be sure to clean off any residue before installing the new seal. This will ensure that the double-sided tape will have a clean surface to adhere to. When I did mine, I loosely put the upper seal into place and then closed the door/ window. The window will hold the seal tight and in place while you remove the backing from the double-sided tape.

Mileage does not factor but age does. Granted, your car is barely 7-8 years old (depending on build date) but if your car sits out in the elements 24/7 this will wear on the seals faster than those on a garaged car.

As a general maintenance item, I strongly recommend wiping down all of the rubber seals and apply a thin coat of lubricant- I use Honda's Shin Etsu. This will keep the seals fresh and prevent dry rotting.
