IPL front bumper… What a difference!

Hey guys, I finally bit the bullet and gave in to the OEM IPL front bumper and all I can say is wow. I have a 2009 G37S coupe and have been rocking the regular stock S bumper which never looked too tasteful IMHO. Not that it’s ugly or anything, just pretty rounded and not so aggressive. As soon as I put the new bumper on it completely changed the car and give it a more modern look. Thank god it was the exact price equivalent to the stimulus check… spent it as soon is it got deposited. I got it from Z1 Motorsports and it came perfectly. They also had free shipping at the time so I lucked out. Next is the IPL sides. Check out the difference! And if you have been debating on getting an IPL bumper… I’d say do it!!

Before…

After… 😍

Looks beautiful. Please don't mount the front plate either as it looks so clean without it

Thank you guys! I got a no license plate ticket awhile back. I bought the car without any mount on the front so I got one of those that go into the tow hook. I may try and put it back later but I’ll run without it for now 😈
No plans for fog lights either, seems like a PITA and I’m terrible at electrical stuff.

The fog lights are useless anyway, no point in going through the hassle of hooking them up.

That car is in amazing condition for an '09. Has it been repainted, or babied?

Thank you! It’s been fairly babied. I got it second hand at 92k miles in July and it’s at 107k now. Brand new painted IPL bumper and the new headlights make it look very clean. Otherwise the paint if is pretty good condition! The car was actually pretty dirty when I took this pic

Did your bumper come pre-painted or did you have it painted after you received it?

Hooking up the fogs is super simple and I hate electrical work. Check my fog light pics on my '08 to IPL conversion on IG: jpowers36 . Running Diode Dynamics HID kit 3000k.

@Jackfriedman I just ordered mine as well. Was happy to see that they had the B21 code available. How long did yours take to get there once you ordered? I got the itch lol

Hell yeah! That’s awesome! It took about to week to ship out from there place, and then close to another week (maybe a little less) to arrive. Expect 1-2 weeks! It came in a very big box through FedEx. It’s light, but like 6’x3’x3’ in size. Someone will need to sign for it so luckily someone was home at that time, and they just brought it into the garage. It was so awesome to open the box and see that beautiful bumper!
