Nah i cant find the cooling fan relay yet and id like to test that and still havent checked out the Cooling fan control module ( though i cant test that without software so for that i will have to take it in). Id like to try and solve this myself first before handing it over to a shop. Im stubborn and id like to learn more about this car lol

I had an integra before this and man was that car so much simpler lol i now appreciate the simplicity of that car

The PWM relay (the one you tested) IS the fan relay... or did you test a different relay?

Thats the one i tested, i just thought it wasnt the fan relay because i saw this online and it looked different. Anyhow ill figure something out. Ill report back if i have success incase anyone else is having this issue as well. (Granted this half of my thread probably belongs in the "cooling" section of the forum)

Put her all back together tested her out and her cooling fans came on!

They come at at 210'f coolant temp and shut down around 195 ish. Shes still running warmer than usual but in going to drive her tomorrow once i get my new rad cap and see how it goes.

But finally they came on, im not sure what did it but who cares! They work! Lol Thanks for all your help and tips through this ****, ILM-NC!
Now Im going to pour myself a drink and celebrate

Could have been the slightest little bit of corrosion on a wire terminal somewhere on the all of the components you checked. Sometimes it is the simplest fix.. removing and reattaching a connector. .

Glad the issue seems resolved. Though I do not imbibe alcohol, please enjoy a good shot of whisky for me!

Running hot

So i have torque logs. One is from july when it was blazing hot out but my car had not been messed over by infiniti, and logs tonight where its much cooler our than it was in july. Just shows the difference between then and now and clears me from being paranoid about temp.. (vvt oil, coolant, rpm)

July log:

July car had no issues.

Continued ^

Current (running hot)

Continued (running hot)

Honestly at the track (sept 2nd) i was driving hard and didnt reach these temps now (and im not driving hard) This is with my new rad cap. I think im going to have to take it in to that performance shop and have them look at it when they have time.

I still say the root cause of your current issues (temperature/ performance) are all a direct result of the dealer reflashing/"updating" the ECU.

Be interesting to find out what the tuner has to say...

I think you are right tbh. Im going to give them the rundown on the situation and see if they can unlock the ecm and reflash back to what it was before
