Help, wheel trouble

Hey everyone, so I recently installed 18 inch enkei wheels to replace my oem 19 inch sport wheels. After the install there was multiple things wrong with the car. The spedometer stopped working, the abs, vdc, brake, low tire pressure, and check engine lights came on. Has anyone ever encountered this before and if so what was the fix? I’ve looked and i can’t find an issue related to mine. I ran the codes and it says it’s a speed sensor.

Did you install TPMS sensors into the new wheels? That would explain the low tire pressure warning.

yeah! So I got my car back from the store and after about 4 miles driving the speedometer went to 0 and all the lights came on. At first impression I thought I ad lost all control of the car.

Speed sensors should not be near anything accessed when changing the wheels. AFAIK they are mounted to the rear differential...the only time that may have been damaged changing the wheels would have been when jacking up the rear of the car but even then very unlikely...

on the other hand an ABS sensor could have been damaged as they are mounted at the steering knuckle by the wheels...what was the code number exactly?

what size tires did you put on the new wheels, some senors may not work nice if they are mismatched or too far off stock, that s the case for AWD cars anyways maybe the same for RWD
