i dont understand the fascination of the ipl bumper. its not even that nice unless the car is severely lowered.. wasnt the kit technically offered as an anniversary model before the ipl thing? so its technically an anniversary bumper? lol

 

After test-driving both, that inch or two of sunroof made all the difference. Have you pulled the rubber washer under the seat for more travel? Only takes a few minutes and adds another half-inch or so of headroom. Made a noticeable difference, especially getting in and out with a helmet.

To each their own, I suppose. Not sure if or when it was offered elsewhere. I'm sure it's nice to some folks, I'm just not a fan of the lines. The sport bumper looks more appropriately aggressive and contoured to me. The IPL front and rear bumper, in my opinion, come off as overly-styled.

I hadn't, though I'm sure it, like most of Toyota's modern offerings, is also over-styled. One thing I have noticed is that the G37 "S" and the Corolla "S" look quite similar, identical even.
