It wont matter the color. The body shop will want to sand it down first and repaint it if you are going to do it right.

check around and get some quotes. It should be easy for them to provide an estimate even before you get the side skirts. It would probably be the same amount of time as doing non-IPL side skirts.

I wouldn't guess that it would be more than $250 to sand and paint side skirts.

 

So should i just have them repaint it in the right color or should i have them blend it in? I heard its impossible to get 100 color match eithout blending it in but how noticeable would it be?

 

I would have them repaint it in the right color. But that is just my personal preference. I think it ultimately will look better that way. When you say blend it do you mean paint the surrounding panels as well? What color is your G? Also how old is the other paint? That may make a difference in your decision. If it is black or white, then it may not stand out as so different. There are some very skilled painters in the industry who can do it real justice if you find the right shot.
