Spoiler
I just drilled and installed the OEM spoiler (coupe) and the spoiler does not sit flush. What can I do to make it sit flush, the middle and the drivers side sit flush, the passenger side sticks up a lot and will not go down. It's really bothering me, considering getting a new trunk if I can't fix it. Anyone with a solution.
Note: everything was measured and taped off correctly. I have white tabs left over no idea what to do with them.

Jeebus,
It's been several years since I installed my OEM spoiler but I had the same problem with the bolts not matching up with the holes I drilled during the test fit before taping it down. (I found the paper template difficult to work with around curved areas of the trunk.) If I recall there were 4 or 5 bolts that held down the spoiler. I decided not to use one of the middle bolts so I was able to have the spoiler sit flush. Between the 3 or 4 bolts and the tape, it was more than enough to hold down my spoiler. No problem after 4 plus years.
Hopefully you are still at the test fit stage and didn't tape down the spoiler so you can try what I did. If you're willing to buy a new trunk, why not just try to make it work by enlarging some of the holes you drilled (in strategic locations based on the test fit) to make the spoiler fit. Don't forget to paint the edges of the holes to avoid rust.
Good luck!

I recently had my installed. That gap is unacceptable. I remember the drill tape was off on the driver side but the passenger side was almost perfect. The spoiler is held onto the trunk by 5 total connections - 3 holes in the center and the two outer holes (large holes) that hold the plastic snaps. Did you drill the hole as big as recommended? You need the holes to be almost the exact size in order to have give in the placement. For the outer holes, it is the plastic snaps that hold down the spoiler. I had to push mine down and then everything was even. The tape along the edges of the spoiler provided an even seal all around. Good luck!

Those white pieces mount the sides to help it sit flush...the brown wire connects to your brake light (if i remember correctly), which is found underneath the hard fabric liner on the trunk.

Did you buy an actual OEM spoiler or OEM-like. If it was a Nissan product, then the instructions that came with it were very clear. You do need those white mounts to snap the spoiler down on the ends. I did not use the brown wire. I recommend you replace the existing struts with the new ones that came with the spoiler. This is good for the added weight and it was very easy to install - 5 minutes.

I think you have to redo your install and add those grommet to make it flush.
Based on the instructions here.

If the manual was outside I have to assume you were doing the install outside. If you just got to the hole drilling part before it started to rain, does that mean the bare metal holes got wet?
If so, did you clean and use the rust preventative paint as the instructions called for?
Why would you complete the install without instructions knowing you left parts off?
I agree with the other post, start over.
