This is a follow up on my last post. My 2011 G37 Coupe driver side brake light stopped working, but it comes on and off every now and then. Could it be a connection/wiring issue?

Check the bulb first. The bulb could be loose or failing. If you don't have an extra bulb, test it with the good passenger side brake light bulb.

But the brakes are LED? the only bulbs existing in the tail light are the turn signal, reverse light and the bulb that blink when you lock the car

Sorry bro, I misread your post. I was thinking of the turn light bulb. As for the tailight LED, your best bet is testing it with a multimeter or Power Probe. You will be able to determine if it is the LED, resistor or a short somewhere. Good luck!

I would be willing to bet that there is a connection or trace on the LED circuit board going bad. Just as some of us have the flickering LED's in the gauge cluster, apparently the tail lights are also subject to this problem. So much for LED's being so great.

It will not hurt to test the wiring harnesses. As mentioned by UCLA, use a multimeter or PowerProbe. If they check out good, you will either have to crack open the tail light and check the circuit board or just replace the tail light.
