Purchased a coupe at 32.5k miles. Should I perform 30k service on it?

Hey everyone!

I bought my coupe last month and love every second of it. Adding just the OEM rear spoiler yesterday made it look so much better! Anyways, I contacted Infiniti directly and another in Florida (where vehicle report showed it live before coming to my state) and they told me they didn't have any records of service being performed at any of the dealerships.

With that being said would you all recommend I play it safe and to change the fluids? I'm sure service could have been performed somewhere else but I'd like the peace of mind since I just got it, ya know?

Thanks again for any advice!

Save your $$..30k service is a ripoff... the dealer charges $400+ (your dealer may vary)

All they do...

Change oil
Replace brake fluid
replace engine air filter
replace in cabin microfilter
rotate tires

The Rest is just inspections....many (not all) are done everytime you have dealer change oil anyway....

I'd do a diff service too.

It would help to know the age of the car too. Depending on that, coolant drain fill, trans drain/fill, power steering fluid refresh.

If you plan on keeping the car a long time, better to do this maintenance than not. Everything other than the the trans (AT?) is DIY.

Thanks for the reply guys. Whoops forgot to mention it is a 2013 journey w/sport package. I do intend on keeping this car for a while as long as reliability doesn't get too crazy aside from maintenance.

Always better to do the maintenance then not. Even if it has been done it won't hurt it to gauge a baseline. As someone mentioned previously, at least you'll have a general idea of what you're working with.

I agree also that the dealership is a ripoff for something like this, most can be done yourself with minimal effort. The other stuff you can typically get a good shop to do at a lower cost. Enjoy your new car, I plan to drive mine until it dies, hopefully 200k+ miles like others on here
