So yesterday wasn't my day...
So yesterday wasn't my day as far as driving smoothly. I drove past a construction zone and there was no way I could avoid two large stones on the road. As I drove over them I cringed as I heard the impact under my car. Stopped to look at the damage if any and sure enough my aluminum undertray dented and that thick brace/cover dented and cracked. Now I hear a deep vibration inside the cabin when I put it in gear and feel it when I add a little gas. No lights popped up on the dash. What could be damaged?

Hopefully the vibration is just something that came loose during the impact and can be repaired easily, but no way to tell until you can get safely under the vehicle for a full inspection.
Sorry to see that

Did you notice any scuffs on the driveshaft?

looks like the aluminum underbody components are severly damaged. those aren't dents, those are stress cracks. let me guess you hit those 2 giant stones at a high rate of speed. why don't you just file an insurance claim to get everything fixed. that would be a lot simplier than to have people here figure out whats wrong with your car after you collided with 2 stones in the road.

DO NOT file a claim. Call that construction company. Their negligence caused the damage. Hopefully when you drove over those and thought your car was torn in two, you stopped and took pictures of the stones. Don't get stepped on in life, point the blame where the blame is due.

you would need to prove negligence if you want to assign blame. who's to say some ratbas tard kids didnt vandalise some materials from the construction site and threw it in the roadway. what if the stones, materials, construction debri was in a trash dumpster that was loaded onto a trash truck and fell out of the trash dump truck as it drove away. good luck in jumping your gun about assigning blame to the construction company especially if theres no pictures or police reports filed.
