Ugh...Sorry to say this, but I also am inclined to agree with the majority.
M3 all the way.
That really pains me to say as I'm crazy for the G.
Best of luck with your decision, keep us posted.

Which m3 e46 e92 f chassis? Dct manual? I loved mine and working on it was easy and I parts won't make you need to sell a kidney. Pelican parts sells all oem parts for cheap compared to other vendors or dealership. If you buy an m3 buy turner bmw reset tool to reset service read error codes and clear airbag warning if you take out stock seats for race ones. Get to know rob at uuc or vorshlag

Yeah, take the money and run, that's a great offer. You can get a G37 sport with mods and a tune for like 15k, essentially the same car with 11k in your pocket..

Sell the IPL for 26grand. Not only that, it's stock so you do not have to worry about swapping or finding OEM parts to put back on the car before selling. It is literally ready to go.

I was going to sell my G, but I think I came to the conclusion of using it until I get enough money / an adequate job to purchase a Porsche of some sort. if I can't get a Porsche right away, baby steps it is and I'll look for a n55 (Love the DCT) or something along those lines.

But yeah, If I had enough money right now to purchase the car I would like, I would sell my G37S , but that is not the case as of now. I also have a 7AT and I miss 6MT

They are not the same. The m3 would still own the g37.

I'd say to sell man. Like everyone's saying, the resale on these cars is really harsh. For 26k, I'd do it as well. Good luck brother.

I think Kris was saying a 15k regular coupe w/ a tune would net the same output as the IPL and still have 11k left over from that offer he's getting.

And yep, M3 FTW!

Racing performance pedigree...? We're still talking about the G37 right? And comparing the G37's racing pedigree to an M3 is comical. The G37 has a very loose relationship to the Skyline GT-R (R34). Nissan effectively split the Skyline and GT-R after the R34 model, making the GT-R the performance follow-up to the R34 and the Skyline more so to continue the name's heritage.

You completely misunderstood, I said sell the IPL and get a Sport G with mods and still have money leftover. Didn't say anything about the M3.

He's actually double wrong. He didn't understand what you said and I don't see why $11k wouldn't make a G37 very competitive with a stock E90/92/93 M3.

E30 as well. Flat brim tax pays top dollar for e30 and e36 so market is always alive.

you mean 11K spent in a turbo build or something? its a heavy car too, you are right that Nissan just weren't concentrating on the performance aspect for the G37, like its Skyline predecessors the R32-34.

you would need to lose some extra weight as well. replace doors with lighter material, delete back seats, get racing seats, CF trunk/hood, lightweight wheels, replace engine components with light weight ones, whatever. There's a guy on The Smoking Tire who even got a CF Drive shaft for his G37!
