Totaled?

That is similar to what I was left with after I got rear ended.
They totaled mine, but I had about 140,000 miles on it.
I could have taken $16K and have them keep the car, or $12,400 and let ME keep the car.
I paid $10K a year earlier and parts to fix it were about $2K.
I am still driving it and it is essentially a free car at this point.

Good evening dessidee,
Sorry for the late response, I've been a little busy with work and errands. I have some great news for you, your car may not be totaled judging by the pictures you have shown me. Now don't take my word for it, but I am not 100% sure if there is structural/chassis damage. And it doesn't seem like the rear crash bar/absorber has been inflicted at all. Your vehicle is worth between 8.5-12k with the sport/premium pkg; let's be conservative and say that it is worth around 10.5k. In order for a vehicle to be considered a total loss in your state, the cost of repairing has be 75% or greater than the vehicle's worth before the accident. That means your repair threshold is around $7,900. If you want your vehicle to be back in perfect condition, with no flaws or evidence from an accident the cost will be around $6,100 w/o labor. Now, if you aren't picky and choose not to replace the trunk lid, muffler/exhaust tip and driver's side quarter panel it can pan out to around $4,200 w/o labor. From what I can see, the trunk lid can be buffed out and painted. You can replace both exhaust tips at a custom exhaust shop for around $80-$200. The driver's side quarter panel is just dinged and can also be buffed out and painted. If your insurance insists on totaling the vehicle and you wish to keep it, I would highly suggest arguing and bargaining. If they continue to dispute it, try a different repair shop that can lower the cost. Also, using non-oem and used parts greatly reduces the cost of the estimate. My estimates were with new, oem parts. Good luck, and I wish you the best. Hope you get to keep your G! I remember when I thought I almost lost mine in an accident haha.

Ah, no biggie on the delayed response. Thanks for taking the time out to respond to me. Seems pretty good to me, hopefully the estimates will be similar to yours. Did u also factor in the air bags deploying? My seat as well as the side curtain airbag deployed

Yes, the airbags are actually most of your estimate at around $3,000
