by definition today.. the mazdaspeed6 is an econobox.. four door four banger that can be had for 5-7k..
just as quick stock and more efficient than the g... I can speak from experience since ive had both and ran them against each other...
once the speed6 was modded.. it ran away from the g.. where the g can only go so far NA..


perhaps the other thing to consider other than weight is balance...
