Nissan Tow Hook Painted and Installed 😂

Got bored last night, and have had leftover caliper paint sitting in the closet for months.

So, decided to paint the Nissan tow hook to add a little race car flair.

Understanding most will laugh at this. But I'm sharing it regardless. 😁

I think I'd leave the hook in the trunk until you need a tow

You're tall enough to park over the curb! I always cringe when someone drives their car well over the curb until it hits the tire, I don't think I've ever owned a car that could do that when I was done with it lol.

Hahaha!

The headlights are foggy and yellow on the inside
The only way to restore them is to bake and pull them apart.. or buy a new set.

Haha, I've got plans to lower it soon. I rarely park that close to curbs any ways.

I was used to doing that when I owned a Jeep. I wasn't far enough into the parking space until I felt the tires hit haha.

If you track your car regularly and go off into the sand traps every time, or if your car is an unreliable POS that breaks down daily, you're all set! Good thinking ahead!

I thought so too on my '08. But to my surprise, a body shop was able to clean them right up

Haha, neither of those things are true-- luckily. So thanks!

Hmmm, I'll have to look into that. How much did they charge?

Don't get it done - Do it yourself the next time you're bored

And not going to lie, that **** looks out of place smh. It's definitely unique in it's own way now for sure.

My shop charged me like $150 if I recall correctly. I dropped it off for a day and it was ready for pickup the next morning.

Oh man do the headlights yourself! It's super easy and pretty quick too. Then just be sure to finish them with a nice polish and wax to seal them up.
