Power steering leaking everywhere!

Friend of my is driving my car and had it parked while they ran some errands. Came back out and there is power steering fluid all under the car. He refilled and the leak continues. What could be wrong?! Would this be covered under warranty?

Are you sure its not ATF? You said in another thread that you were having weird shifting issues. These issues could likely be related.

Could that be leaking as well? He mentioned the cars making some noise when turning the wheel.

Sounds like you have a power steering leak. It is covered under warranty if you still have that coverage.

Lol at just filling it back up and hoping it fixed itself.. But seriously, hopefully its just a loose fastener at the reservoir or something. If the noise gets louder as you turn the wheel its definitely the power steering. Did you look to see where the leak was coming from?

Couldn't tell where it's leaking from. Dealer hasn't gotten back to me yet called at 8:30 am

Gotcha, is your handle a Tiesto plug? I'm a huge trance/electronic fan.

Yep your the first amongst many forums that's noticed.

Update: power steering pump leaking covered under cpo warranty this dealer claims it's a $50 deductible. Whatever.

Why was the power steering leaking? I am having the same issue as you now. Some info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Only way to know is to grab a flashlight and see where its coming from. When you take your car to the Stealership, that's what they're going to do too.
