Best G37 Year
#16
Anything 2011 and up is best, BUT any year G37 is bulletproof. There's a 2009 with over 400k miles on it already. The paper gasket issue is very very rare, and has only happened to a handful of people. The model you want goes with what you are looking for in the car. The packages are detailed on the infiniti website. And LSD only came on the manuals as far as I know. All the autos are open diff. Pros--you don't do one wheel peels. Cons--I don't think I need to explain.

DAS is sort of an inside joke, it's direct adaptive steering and available on the 2017 Q60. It's an electric steering unit on those cars and not hydraulic like the 2nd gen cars you're looking at.
I'd say most 2014-2015 Q60's are going to be in the 30-40k range. You could probably find a solid 2013 Journey in that price range.

Very very rare??? No I wouldn't say that, if you consider the amount on the late 350z, late G35, and the current 370z and G37s there's been plenty of reported issues of this occurring. Enough that if I were to do it again I wouldn't consider a pre 2012. Also many that have had this problem just took it to the dealer after the code appeared and the warranty kicked in (so many wouldn't have been brought to light). And also keep in mind there's a majority of vehicles being driven w/ lower miles, so in time this thing will rear it's ugly head in many more vehicles.
