Airbag

The airbag in my steering wheel needs to be replaced. I have been trying to find one that will fit on ebay but am not sure which on will fit? Some say they are compatible with my car some say they are not....I called the dealship and they told me over 1000 just for the bag? I checked discount infinti but they dont seem to sell air bags? Any help is appreciated.

It is going to be super expensive to program it even if you get the bag cheaper

I'd say, if you're not selling the car then don't worry about the airbag and make sure you wear your seat belt at all times.

The vehicle will never pass any required state inspection.
Any legitimate repair facility might refuse to work on the vehicle because they could possibly be held liable if the vehicle left their premises with a non working air bag and an accident was the cause of injury to a passenger/driver of that vehicle.
Time to get a replacement/new vehicle if you can't afford the repair

Just my $.02

I need it to get inspected so cant just drive it like that. And its not that I cant afford it. I just would rather not pay that much if there is an alternative. If there is not I will have no choice but to go to the dealership. Im sure there someone on this site who has replaced their airbag without going to a dealership.

Other than a new factory airbag, your only other real alternative is buying a used one from a recycler. I would expect to be able to find one in the 4-5 hundred dollar range.

You don't need to program an airbag, there's a harness with a yellow and orange plug that go into the replacement and its plug'n'play. Sedan and coupe are the same, doesn't matter. Grab one off ebay or a salvage yard etc.. They should be like $3-400, no reason to pay for a brand new one. If its not already deployed and ruined, its good to go.

NO THEY ARE NOT!!!!
The Convertible seat belt is DIFFERENT from the Sedan seat belt.
I don't know about coupe, but the convertible are definitely different from sedan.
The sedan seat belt don't have the seat belt guide latch (the one with the screw on the picture)

Well luckily OP is wanting it for the coupe/vert, not a sedan BUT, I guess Infiniti has it listed wrong if you're right:

Vert:
