Slowly getting bored of the G37, What should I do?
Hey guys I need some ideas on what I can do with the G37 now. Slowly getting bored of it, not sure what else I should do with it now. It has an IPL front bumper, Tein Springs, Intakes, test pipes, axleback and a tune. I was planning to go single turbo but the amount of money and the headache I might have after kind of turned me away now. The car being down isn't an issue as I don't even daily the g37 but after putting $11,000 into the car I wouldn't feel like fixing stuff that breaks. What do you guys think? Anyone else getting bored of the car, What do you guys do to get over it? My backup plan was to sell my car and buy an Evo X. Maybe next year though.

Make your own, think outside the box a little. The only custom thing needed is the welding for the exhaust piping from the y pipe or mid pipe back, depending on how you do it. Any decent shop could get it tucked and welded for $4-600. Otherwise you just have to source your own parts which is FAR cheaper than any bolt on kit available, hands down. You'd need the turbo, oil lines, oil pump, BOV, WG, couplers and piping gauges etc. Not really that hard at all. There are several 370z guys with them built in the garage.

Too lazy to source all these parts lol. But if the turbo kit was like $6000 or less including oil cooler, gauges, etc I would so do it right now. But when you're getting into the $10,000+ range then its a different story. Although if someone had a Lexus Is300 2jz-gte,v160,TT rear diff then I would trade them my car for theirs
I'll do you one better, send me $5900 and I'll build you a kit myself!

Boosted Performance makes a nice mid-mount single turbo kit that does not require removing the engine for installation. It's in the $6K range.
Other than that, I'd definitely go with different wheels and a good suspension/coil-over setup. Then brakes. A quality set of dampers makes the car feel 500 pounds lighter.

Sell it and find a srt6 crossfire. Cheap as dirt and a 12 second ride. If you can find a vert you'll be in love. Minor mods throw it into the 11s. Reliable too once you upgrade the intercooler pump.

I'm getting bored of my car too! I'm not really impress with this car as it lags, accelerates very slow, and poor gas mileage. I'm slowly parting out my car and will be selling my Vossen CV3s soon
