Yep. I still need to install my Motiv High Flow Cats. I ordered the header to cat gaskets and they should be here in a week or so. Already bought the 1/2 inch impact ratchet extensions, impact sockets and PB Blaster.

ANd next up is a CAI. More than likely Stillen Gen-3.

And once everything is is on I head to Chatsworth, CA to Specialty-Z for a Tune and Dyno.

Use the 50/50 Acetone-ATF mix, works about 5x better than PB blast.

Never heard of this. So just mix half Acetone and half automatic transmission fluid? Sounds caustic lol.

Interesting. After doing some Googling and You-Tubing it seems that ATF-Acetone is far superior.

And PB Blaster is garbage. Barely better than WD-40.

I guess my list of stuff to buy just got bigger.

Thanks for the Pro-Tip blnewt.

Changed the end links and my clunking noise(s) are gone! New to the forum, as a contributor, but have been reading since last year, and bought an '09 37x A/T coupe last January, w/60k miles. LOVE IT! I'm a DIY kind of guy with alternate vehicles (75 IH Scout) to drive if something takes more time than immediately available, but my G is my daily driver. Why would I want to drive anything else? Thanks to everyone who contributes to these forums, as they selflessly share the joy (and maint) that driving a G is. I'm now at 80K on my G and have replaced both front sway bar end links, both front wheel bearings, all brake pads and tires. Next spring is complete brake upgrade, and with the info from this sight, I know I'm getting what I want and need. Thanks again.

Finally got around to having the OEM deck lid spoiler installed. The Opti-Coat 2.0 had cured for about 3 weeks so it should be nice and hard. Check out that water beading (the rest of the car is coated with CQuartz Finest)! The clear plastic lens on the spoiler is coated with CQuartz DLUX.

ETA: slight bit of water is leaking into the trunk during heavy rains. I'm going to pull the liner and put some sealant around the gaskets -- any recommendations as to what to use for sealant that will not degrade the rubber gaskets? I'm thinking silicone (like the kind they use in plumbing) but am open to suggestions.

Looks good, OEM is such a good spoiler on the coupe. I would just use plain old silicone personally, I'm sure there's a 'better' option, but a $2 tube of silicone should do the job just fine.

Got my winters put on. Probably don't really need them, but my summers were at 1mm.

Just gave her a bath and now putting her up for sale. Tears of sorrow and hope she finds a great new home.
