Today I modified my IJDMToy license plate mount. I know that there is a stillen license plate mount for about $85 before shipping to Mount the plate to the tow hook. I didn't want to spent that much money so I bought the IJDMToy one for like $30 on amazon. Once it came in and I installed it, no matter how tight I made the center screw it would still not hold steady and any little bump I would hit would cause the plate to become crooked. I went to home depot and picked up a bracket that would allow the plate mount to be held up in 2 spots (rather than one) and a couple of lock nuts for about $3 and my problem was solved. Hope this helps with some other people who don't want to spend $85 for a plate relocate. Check out the pictures below to see how I modified it. What IJDMToy sent me along with 1 screw, 2 rubber washers to attach the black plate to the rod and 4 screws to attach the license plate to the black plate My modifications How it looked after

Question: Did you have the plate in the OEM position before? and if so, what did you do with the holes when you removed the OEM plate mount?
Yes $85 seems pricey for a plate relocate kit. They have motorized hideaway mounts for $125 bucks. for that money I'd play with one of those till it failed before I'd spend almost as much for a fixed mount.

followed the DIY for the ambient lighting in the footwells. pics were taken with the lights on max brightness. I dialed it way back to have a dim glow while driving

It'd be awesome if you can program the lights to glow blue on low rpm and progressively turn red as you reach WOT

^^Gotta be someway. The Accord has a similar thing around the speedo, turns white when you are not being an efficient or "green" driver. Once you are cruising and the car is running efficiently it turns green. Thats a pretty cool idea you got

I just received a pair of kits for my car and my daughter'NISMO Juke.
Darned good installation kit. Lots of optional fuse taps and connectors.
Man, I like the idea of of a RPM driven color fade.
