What did you do to your coupe today?

Hey there, did you order the box from somewhere or did you have it custom made?

19x8.5, +38mm front and 19x9.5, +45mm out back. I used the recommended offset from TireRack to play it safe and they could really stand to be pushed out by 15 or 20mm to fit even with the fenders and quarter panels. Tires for the rear aren’t cheap, but if (fingers crossed) the car gets retired from daily use, I’m going to go square with 9.5 on all corners.
They’re excellent quality, made in Japan, and weigh around 24 lbs.. My only complaint is how easy it is to nick the lip of the 19s, since the lip sticks out a tiny bit more than the stock 19” Sport wheel. The close up here was taken after I had some curb rash repaired.
The car is lowered on Swifts Coupe springs, and running a set of 370Z Sport struts that are just a little too softly damped, IMO. Next year I’d like to upgrade to Koni adjustables.
The spring specs are F:10.3, R: 9.7k
F: -1.3”, R: -1.0”
(Coworker’s old Charger is in the background.)

Diode Dynamics turn signals
I finally installed my Diode Dynamics turn signal kit and it works great. I partially wrapped the “heat fins” in a thin strip of leather so they wouldn’t bang around on anything after the install. I noticed the price tag on the package was about $40 (bought on Amazon) from about two years ago (procrastinated a bit). I looked up the price today and it’s about $80?!?! Doubled in just two years. Thanks, Covid. Even if you buy them today, they’re still worth it.

Any specific reason you want the IPL exhaust? For $2K there are far better options out there. Do not get me wrong, I have the IPL (paired w/ Fast Intentions RHFC's), but it is nowhere near being worth ≈$2K.

Congrats on the spoiler install. It wasn't that bad, was it?

Had the sports exhaust but the tips were huge.
I'm just sticking with OEM parts. I regret selling the sports though. I could have just switched out the tips for the Q50 sports exhaust tips.

My Optima red top sulfated after sitting for a week too long without a tender, so I threw in a Braille G30 Green-Lite lithium battery. It’s smaller than the standard Group 35 batteries most G coupes came with, so latching it to the OEM battery tie-down locations might take a little ingenuity to work, even with an adjustable bracket.
Also had the battery relocated to the trunk a couple days later. The shop that did the relocation (RAV Performance) also installed some other goodies for me that I've had boxed up for months. They installed a Mishimoto radiator, Z1 hoses, Fast Intentions 34 row oil cooler, HKS super fire spark plugs, AAM resonated HFCs, Z1 urethane motor mounts, Z1 front swaybar and f&r SPL endlinks. There's more info in my build thread; highly recommend that shop if you’re in SE Florida.
Sitting on the Optima red top tray to get the height up
No more battery weight up front. 7lbs of weight transitioned to the trunk, 42lbs saved up front compared to a standard group 35 battery, and 32lbs of savings coming from the Optima. Overall loss of 35lbs +/- a lb
CZP Setrab 13 row power steering on the left
AAM RHFCs + HKS Hi-Power

Installed a safety mod for track days, H3R universal fire extinguisher bracket (SM01BK). Keep an element extinguisher in the glove box also. I would never want to watch my car (or anyone else’s) burn to the ground so it’s a simple mod for peace of mind.
Updated, relocated it behind the seat. Much better and just as easy to grab.
