Oh haha, the resonated/non-resonated pipes are completely blow through but the res pipes have a bit of material around the pipe in a small section. I bet the power difference, if at all, is less than 1hp. I can bet the CFM rating on both are very very similar. In other words there's nothing obstructing the air flow whatsoever.

Your bumping a 4 year old thread, so responses will be limited possibly. Best bet is to look on YouTube. I'l go ahead and say don't do ART pipes with muffler delete. Or muffler delete at all for that matter.

That's true regarding the thread. But, I've heard some test pipes have decent sound that's not raspy with just an axle back. And I'm planning on finding a used exhaust eventually since I don't see the point in buying a brand new motordyne on a car I don't plan on having for a long time. For the mean time I think a $100 axle back suffices until I find a catback for the right price.
