Help: trim piece
I'll keep this short and sweet that way I don't go on a rant.
Installed my twm short shifter this weekend,
Always remember friends aren't as careful as you are.
Anyone know where I can get just the 08-10 6mt shifter trim piece?
Anyone on here have one for sale? Just need the silver trim piece.

Short story bc you were able to rant away to me in text messages last night lol I've seriously been looking for a trim piece for you but as of now I haven't had any luck brother. Once this basketball game is over I'm going to continue my search for you! At least you finally got it installed.

Why is this damn trim piece so hard to find and yet so easy for the Z I gotta be looking in the wrong places.
Did you think about searching your local Craigslist ads for a salvage part out?

My advice would be to check ebay for salvaged parts. You might end up having to buy the whole assembly but you could pull the trim apart yourself once it arrives.
If that fails you could always wrap it with vinyl or plasti-dip it matte black after getting it straight and smooth.
Hell, you could even sand it smooth & use some bondo to get it perfect and paint it to match the car!

Thanks everyone for looking, I'm still trying to find one... I was hoping someone knew a website like sewell or something that might have it...
Thanks! I appreciate it, but it has a good size dent in it too... I don't really want to pay $50 for one that's messed up.

Should have been posted in the Body Interior Exterior Lighting forum.

A heat gun and some gentle rubbing can smooth that out! (insert joke here)
