They have the exact mechanical function. Have you also noticed your car being much quicker since you installed it?

Thank you all for your thoughtful and helpful responses. I was merely stating I noticed a difference in the sequence of starting the car. Stock button was: press and hold until ignition. GTR button was a quick press and release. I can reinstall the stock button to show the difference if you all would like.

Again, I value all of your responses as much as I value a piece of toilet paper after wiping.

Sarcasm at its finest. I approve. I have an MT and have never held the button till ignition. Press clutch and a slight push and release and it comes alive.

^ +1. no difference is starting sequence with either button. get in, push clutch in, quick push of the button, off you go.

only difference is, with the GTR button the car sounds like a beast! even better than a CAI.

Well, if it starts quicker I need it. When I go to the track my reaction time always sucks because it takes so long to turn the car on after the tree lights green. Best bang for the buck imo

You don't deserve to drive an Infiniti after insulting us like that. You belong in a Chevy Cobalt with an aftermarket pop-up sunroof and racing stripes!
