In fairness, the clowning really started in earnest after OP's butthurt reaction to people indicating that his observation was silly. He posted and asked a silly question (which I suppose he now realizes because he deleted it) and got sensitive when he got laughed at and teased a little. Nobody was rude or abusive.

If he chooses to believe there's a difference between two electronic components where the ONLY difference between them is the color of the plastic, that's on him.

A butt dyno is a powerful and dangerous thing. Many of us have been misled by its results.

The responses were rude in my book. Maybe I'm just sensitive. I feel like people who join the forum (to ask questions and gain knowledge from like-minded individuals) will be discouraged from posting if their (sometimes ignorant) questions get shot down and mocked.

This should be a helpful community of car enthusiasts .

Thanks for your observation, Black Betty. Maybe I was wrong in saying that you had to press and hold for the engine to start. That's what I did everyday.

After posting I realized that my question did indeed come off as "silly." Live and learn.

I've been here a long time and I'm about 99% sure that nobody's comments were meant to be rude or hurtful. Just busting your ***** some. Take it in stride in a good natured way as I'm sure it was intended. We tend to do that around here. Welcome to the forum.
