Yes or No?
Hey all. My 2010 G37X coupe is history, totaled with $30K damage. I located a 2012 G37XS coupe with 7,400 miles. Pretty darn pristine in and out. Manufacturer car bought by dealer at Manheim, PA dealer auction. Graphite shadow on stone, no paint work or wheel repair, one owner per Carfax (even though Carfax cannot be relied on). Infiniti CPO. Is $28,500 plus tax and tag a burn or is it fair? They started out at $29,900 after reducing it from $31K the day before.
Need some informed input ASAP
Thanks in advance.
BTW, the 2010 probably saved my life cause I was able to climb out the passenger side in one piece.

i paid $29k for mine, but its a 2013. has more mileage (27k), but also loaded and extras (midnight grille, spoiler, mudguards). i maybe could have got it for less, but it was 2 miles away and no other xS's around.
try to get a little off if you can ....

Thanks to everybody who answered regarding the 2012, and thanks for the concern also. Retail according to NADA is $27,875. The low mileage accounts for $4,300 of that amount. Dealer is doing no lower than $28,100 including dealer prep, brand new Infiniti mats and one of the new $24 tube pens of graphite shadow touch-up. I'd like to pay less, but based on condition, mileage, and local availability of pristine XS coupes, I accepted. Haven't even settled out yet on my totaled 2010 X coupe. I pick it up Monday. Wife is happy average Joe won't realize it's a different car because the color scheme is the same. Diehard G37 people would notice differences immediately.
Again, thanks to everybody. I only wish the circumstances were different.

Thank Redfire. Seems like it's meant to happen. Also, dealer is throwing in a set of Infiniti all-weather mats in black (I did not want stone mats) even though interior is stone. This will hold me over until I can pick up a set of Weathertech Digital Fit mats for the fronts only. So, it's a near done deal. Wil take delivery Monday. Wish me luck.
BTW, this is Porter Infiniti in Newark, DE, and I am in Baltimore. So far, decent no-pressure folks.

The extras on the XS coupe make it a nice deal IMO and should be a nice upgrade from your regular X coupe. Sure glad you're OK, any pics of that damage, 30k in damage had to be a brutal sight.
Congrats on your new ride and best of luck this time around

My wife has an entire library of them on her MacBook Pro. Never uploaded pictures to a form before. I guess you go through Photobucket or something. Certainly will try , even though it really pains me to look at them. Yes the Xs definitely an upgrade. Those sport seats are a bit tight for my fat *** but they should be fine for my wife. And thank you for the concern.

i got the Weathertechs, but someone on here posted about a set of Weathertech-style mats that were nicer-looking (looked more suited to a G37, as opposed to a 4x4) and cheaper. sorry, i forget the brand. try a search ....

My Infiniti A/W's are thrown into the bottom line. They really are not good enough to spend money on aside from a throw-in to seal the deal. I looked at them in 2010 at the Infiniti parts counter when I had bought my X coupe back then, and knew they lacked coverage and quality so I passed.

Took the Amtrak Monday for a 25 minute train ride that costed almost $80 due to Columbus Day. Walked in with bank check and the ****** f/ed up the 1/4 panel, either taking it for M.D. inspection or while sitting on lot. Made them drive me home and they had it PDR'd next day and emailed me worthless images of the "fantastic" repair. Debating whether to take ride back up and even if repair is marginally good enuff to take the car, my old lady still laid up with knee replacement so I cannot drive rental and G home simultaneously. May take the risk of driving back up tomorrow afternoon, but I know PDR is not magic and access to some panels only happens by drilling somewhere inconspicuous and plugging hole afterward. Maybe it was not meant 2 b and I should back off.
