The silencers are removable and the tips should be too, they look like cheap electrical conduit tin. Be SURE to get the beveled double wall/rolled tips. Don't want the as$ end of your car to really look like as$.

For $180 I'd buy it right now!

If you want loud, get the 2nd one. The first one is significantly quieter.
They aren't significantly louder.

I ran my car without mufflers before I put on the axle back and all the axle back did was refine the sound. It may have made it a tad bit more quiet than no mufflers but those Top Speed/Manzo/Beluga mufflers are super loud. They've got minimal baffling in them.

My car is loud as hell when I cold start it in my garage.

You wouldn't happen to have a dB meter would you?

I'm curious as to exactly how loud the beluga/manzo system is.

I'm all about loud, but I'm not a kid anymore and would feel bad about the neighbors.

I don't. But, if you watch the video I posted on the 1st page of this thread you can get an idea. It's pretty loud when you get on the throttle and it gargles and pops when you down shift and rev match.

It's pretty calm if you just cruise through a parking lot or down your street without giving it throttle so your neighbors won't be super pissed if you come home late.

Thanks everyone for your input.

I have decided to get the following exhaust. The first one is not available yet and I have yet to receive a confirmation from Top Speed. I think it makes sense to go with a bit louder exhaust, I mean that's the point of moving away from stock, right?

Infiniti G37 Top Speed Pro-1 Upgrade Axle-back Exhaust System - Top Speed Auto Accessories, Inc.

Will post a before and after video.

Look forward to the install pics and the sound clips, the nice 4.5" tips will look good back there and should give a nice boost in sound, hopefully drone won't be excessive.

The first video I posted in my earlier post - does that exhaust seem to have any drone? I think it's the same exhaust as this one that I'll be ordering.

You won't hear drone when you're quickly accelerating, it's when you're just cruising steady in the low 1500 to 1800 rpm range where the sound gets a deep bass tone in the cabin, like a deep hum.

Just an update -

Both exhausts (listed in my first post) are currently out of stock. Top Speed will be restocking at the end of this month.

Well, like I said previously, I'd highly recommend the one w/ the mufflers, not the straight pipe version, just in case the straight pipe version amplifies the sounds you don't want.

Is it possible for you to post a video of an exhaust with rasp/drone and one without them? Just curious how they sound.

Since I don't have much knowledge on these - I might just get the one with mufflers then.

Which is exhaust is better, Manzo or Topspeed. They both look the same...

The source where they're built should be the same, there may be slight differences but
