What does the Dealer option "Sports" exhaust sound like?
So I just picked up my 2015 Q60 (blk / blk) 6mt coupe last week. The exhaust is dead silent. Thinking about picking up the sports exhaust.
Anyone have an idea as to what it sounds like? If it sounds like the G35 coupe, I'd be happy with that.
Planning on keeping everything OEM, so yeah, no aftermarket stuff.
Thanks!

Sounds great... You will NOT be disappointed... Brighter exhaust note, semi-exotic sound, crystal clear. Quite a bit more audible from the inside but not intrusive.

Placed my order for the exhaust at my dealership. It's on a 3-6 week back-order....
Will post a quick vid when I get it installed.

Haven't heard it in person, but from videos and what I've seen everyone on here say you won't be disappointed in it.

$640 after taxes. I checked ebay and even though it's in stock, it's like $100 more. I can wait a few weeks.

Yeah, just need a little growl here and there. Not sure why they removed that awesome tone the G35/FX35 both had.

Damn, dealers in Canada want ~$1250 for it, you'll definitely enjoy it. Does the $640 include install?

No, install is another $100 or so. But I'll take it to a local muffler shop and have the do it for around $50.

That's actually not a bad price at all from both places

Looks good in the trunk. Will look even better once installed. Maybe on Thursday / Friday. Ignore the bath salts.

i would say just to get an axle back exhaust. I had/have TopSpeed resonated axleback, and it was (IMO) one step above the sport in tone.

I have the sport exhaust. It has larger tips and the tone is more defined. It keeps the stock note but louder and a bit more aggressive. You will notice it right away.

I enjoy the muffler a lot. Good balance of increased volume and tolerable cruising noise. It shows that this is an OEM part.
Sport Accessory muffler. Cold start to idle, a couple 3k revs, a couple 2k revs. Revs start at about the minute mark for those who don't care to wait for the idle to become stable. (click image below to start video)
