From the video Ryne posted and others I've seen on youtube it sounds amazing. I badly want one but my only hang up is that I think it sticks out about an inch too far. When paying all that money for an axle back, I'd want it to be exactly what I'm looking for. I was at the dealer for an oil change the other day and took these pics. The pic from behind really shows what I'm talking about. That said, I still may end up just getting it.

 

Jesus, that looks like how my tips were sitting after a speed bump bent my mid pipes and pushed my mufflers out of their hanger mounts. Way to far out.

The sport exhaust fits perfectly in my opinion. The tips come to the end of the bumper cover and have a nice angle. It can take a little getting used to though since the tips are large.

 

Did someone at Infiniti install it wrong? Looks pretty good in this vid. Could be just the angle.

 

Looking at pics 1 and 2 that I posted, you can see it sticks out the same as the videos posted in this thread. The issue is that from certain angles, such as the last photo, it just looks like it sticks out far even though it is flush or even slightly recessed from the edge of the bumper. The factory exhaust sits about 2 inches back and is placed perfectly IMO.

 

Yeah, I'm not feeling that look at all. Anyone in SoCal want a sports muffler? lol

Maybe I'll head over to the muffler shop and ask if they could swap the sports tip with the original tip and still have everything line up perfectly like the non-sport version.
