G37sx Ride High?

I'm just about a few more months from being able to put a good down payment on my own G37. So that being said I have created a "pecking order" list of available G37's starting with the "S" first.

Now I see a lot of X's and XS's on carmax and they look like they ride a bit higher than the normal G37's. Is this true?

G37sx Ride High?

I'd say it's more than a little, but yes the X's ride higher than RWD Gs

Also if you plan on lowering the G, the AWDs transfer case makes it tough to go too low for proper clearance.

Thanks you guys. I think I'm going to try to stick with the RWDs. I love how low the "S" rides already. 5 more months...

If you value your car's stance then don't get an X haha. Good luck on saving up.

It isn't difficult to get the AWD G37 in a better stance than the RWD S comes with from the factory. I don't scrape on anything and make a stock RWD S look like a 4x4. If you want/need the AWD, I wouldn't let this deter you, it's an easy fix. Regardless, whichever model you choose still won't be low enough and you'll find yourself considering lowering anyways.

Can't go as low as a RWD but in your case it doesn't matter; that looks great!

Yes, an AWD can go equally as low as an RWD. All you need are coilovers, which are available for both trims.

It always funnels back to how low can you live with and how low dare you go.
