Ugh... Sad Day...
Well... I managed to scrape my driver side fender and bumper backing into my garage. Cleared my mirrors and then tried to straighten out and clipped it....
Looks like they'll need to pop that dent out of the fender and patch the bumper/respray it.
Gonna try and take it to the body shop on Tuesday and see what they say. I'm hoping they can take care of it for ~700 bucks. My deductible is $500 but I'd rather just take a small hit and not have my rates go up.

sucks... take advantage of the downtime if you can..
perhaps filling in those license plate holder holes... painting the grille.. headlamps.. etc
as far as insurance... rates should not go up if the fault is not yours but understand the idea behind raising it if its yours..

I was under the impression that comprehensive repairs are usually no fault to the owners, like a tree branch falling or a cracked windshield. Wouldn't this count as collision since I swipped the garage?
Also good news, a new fender is only 291 shipped. OEM too. My buddy has a body guy that said to call him for a reasonable paint quote. Hoping to move forward and get it fixed this week or next.

Lol I don't have that much money to blow on my car.. Yet....
I did however buy some intakes last week so at least I have that to look forward to.

The garage came out of nowhere. I swear to god.
Also, first quote came in for repair and paint at $1092. Not terrible. About what I expected. Gonna call a few more places.

Lol. It's okay, stuff happens I'm just glad I can fix it.
Side note: this happened like an hour after I returned home from helping my Mom buy her new car. Everyone at the dealership commented on how clean my car was
This is what we got my Mom. It's fully loaded and had 33k on it . She traded in an M35s.

Found one to test drive on Saturday that turned out to be a complete base model and fortunately the malbec black one we bought had been traded in the night before. Tested that one and she fell in love.
