Who Can Fit UNDER A G37s?!?

Hi All...I did some work this weekend (serpentine belt change and diff fluid replacement), and had to jack the car up. (I used 4" wood blocks under all the tires to get the lift...and keep it level.)
I've read about folks here just crawling under to do things like oil changes...HOW is that possible? I'm not that big 5'9" 150lbs...but I just can't fit!
Seriously...is there anybody on this site that can crawl under and work on a stock 2008 G37?

Jack stands or ramps. Nobody can fit under a G (even a stock one) comfortably and have ample room to work. A moderately lowered G sits too low to even get most low profile jacks underneath without some help.

Yep,what Black Betty said.

I usually drive up on some 2x4's so i can get the jack under it.

But yeah going underneath is a tight fit.

The only thing that I've ever done under the G without ramps is change the differential oil. That's a piece of cake!

I bled my brakes, bled the clutch fluid, and flushed my power steering this weekend. Had the car up on jack stands for all of it.

Side note: I was kinda shocked at how stiff the chassis was. When I jacked up the front the rear same side of the car lifted up as well off of its jack stand.

I don't care how skinny you are, there's no way anyone could fit under the FRONT of the car without jacking it up, even at stock height.

The Back is a different story, like someone mentioned, I was able to change the diff fluid without jacking the car up. Space is tight but workable for sure.

I am at stock height, 2010 sedan.

What are you using as a jack point to do this?

Proper jack points are the engine cradle in the front and diff in the back.

Used the rear diff to lift the back and just lifted it behind the front wheels for the front on each side.

So that engine cradle is the proper point in front? Is that the brace right ahead of the cats in between the axles?

Don't think it's a good idea to lift the side any higher than necessary to get the wheel off.

Well, we had to lift it high enough to get the jack stands in place as well as high enough to allow us to get underneath. It wasn't too high, maybe an inch or two underneath the tires before we took them off and placed them under the frame.

I have the 10" (4 piece) Race Ramps also, they work great. I also purchased the 12" wheel cribs an alternative to jack stands. If you do buy the wheel cribs, you'll also need the 24" low lift jack from Harbor Freight to get the wheels off the ground high enough to place the cribs underneath. I had Rhino ramps for years, but they raise the wheels 6", the additional 4" under the car makes a huge difference. I've also replaced the plastic under car panel with the Z speed aluminum panel. It has two screws to remove a door to change out the oil/filter. One other mod I made was install a Fumoto valve to drain the oil. Makes life easier/cleaner.

Being on ramps doesn't allow all the old oil to drain out though.
