alarm going off ?!?!?!

Hi guys, i kind of wanted to make my own thread but im not too sure how forums work and i fear i wont get a reply or something like that. I recently bought a 08 G37s 5At (couldnt find a manual) from a private party. To make a long story short heres what happened.
I was with a couple of friends hanging out and they asked me if i could play music from my car. i did and turned the car on every 20 mins or so because i was worried my battery would drain. So on the way home my cars electronics just completely turned off, almost as if the car was turned off (it was still running) so I got it home and parked, i didnt turn it back on fearing my parents would think i was leaving. So like 20 mins later the cars alarm went off and woke everyone up, i got up and unlocked and locked thinking it was a fluke but then it went off again like 5 minutes later, i then got the idea to drive it around the block to see if i could trick it or something and it worked. So days passed by and nothing much happened until today when the same exact thing happened as i was driving, all electronics stopped, i then pulled over and turned it completely off and then on again. nothing happened and i actually locked it when i got home and it didnt go off. Until i went to the store which is about a mile away and then when i got back home it kept going on and on. I would unlock it and lock it and it would go off again. It now even goes off again even with the car is unlocked. I did a computer reset with the steps in some other forum and this didnt help. Ive done the silent alarm thing where you push both the lock and unlock button and it doesnt work either. The alarm just goes on and on and its getting me frustrated. I dont want it to keep going off and on at night because i sure know my neighbors will call the cops. If you guys could help me i would appreciate it. I love my car and i dont want to have to sell it or anything like that. Any help would be nice

Ps. My dads friend whos an aftermarket alarm installer said it was probably my keyfob or however thats spelled and an electrician that fixed my AC fan said it was probably the keyfob too.

Two things to check

1- The age and condition of the battery

2 Was the vehicle ever inspected for any water or flood damage?

I had a carfax run on the car because it was a rebuilt title (revived salvage in some states) and the damage was a collision in the right front side. The owner of the car let me know pretty clear and even showed me pictures. The car was at a standstill and there wasnt any significant damage.

Im going to take your advice and take it to the dealer, do you have any idea how much it would cost to get it looked at?

Purchasing a salvage vehicle is a real crap-shoot.
If you are concerned about how much it will cost to have the vehicle inspected by an Infiniti dealer (which should have been done prior to purchase) you probably can't afford this vehicle.

Good luck

Was it raining when the alarm went off or during your drive home? Water can leak into the grommet for the harness that leads to the BCM in the passenger footwell. Depending on the dealer they will either charge you an hour labor or an electrical diagnostic fee, so figure anywhere from 80-120.
There is also an issue with the door plungers (the things that push in when the doors close) sometimes those malfunction and the factory alarm thinks the car is being broken in to.
First thing I would do is get the battery checked, at pepboys or autozone. If it passes take it to the dealer.

update

I had the car checked by a shop because infiniti wont have times slots until friday. The error obd u1000 (CAN COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT)along with P0463 (fuel level sensor circuit high input). Both state in the OBD code website that could be do by a faulty BCM. Im thinking it might be that.

also i had my battery tested and nothing is wrong with it.

Solution

HI again guys I know it probably doesnt mean much at this point but maybe itll help out someone who has the same issues as me later on. The problem was my BCM and after replacing it the car seems to be in tip top shape.
