Brand new leftover 2013

No new warranty = old "new" car. You have more leverage to bargain but something to keep in mind... if they do eventually budge, please have them to change all the fluids and pump out the old gas in tank. I would imagine they can't be good for the car sitting for that long.

How the f... can Infiniti state it's up to stealer whether or not car sells with new car warranty. The manufacturer determines that, and they have already spoken. It's a used car. Best you can hope for is CPO, or you will have a very lean warranty, possibly as lean as 90 days/1K miles. OP is being lied to by both manufacturer and stealer, which is not surprising, and many here (including me) called it from the start. I would have walked away from the stealer and the car long before now.
The G has some nice qualities, but the manufacturer has a long way to go in terms of near-luxury status, and integrity in general. We own two vehicles, a '10 G37x coupe and a '15 Highlander Limited. When wife asks which car should I take to wherever, I just tell her take what you want, the Toyota or the Nissan. Gives you an idea of how I feel about Infiniti as a marque. Same applies to its stealers. More sleazy than not, and certainly no better than Nissan or Toyota or Honda.

Yes, the G is just a Nissan Skyline, which is a decent car. Compare it to the BMW/Mercedes. they are nicer/more refined, but more $$, I wouldn't want out of warranty. G is more reliable, cheaper to own in repairs/maint. on avg for long term ownership, from my experience. If only 1 or 2 people and not having to pick up or take anything... I would take the G anytime for a drive than Highlander (driving dynamics) LOL! I get your point...
I've been in Mercedes, BMW and Acura dealers that are just as bad if not worse than Infiniti dealers... Doesn't matter if it's a Chevy dealer or Luxury dealer.

Sorry for OP that the deal fell apart. Going from a 2010 to a 2013 (apples to apples equipped) for $15K OTD and restarting the clock on factory warranty, well that is a pretty compelling deal (even with original fluids). Removing the factory warranty changes everything, and I doubt that the stealer would CPO the car at the numbers they went down to, not that they would do much bettet at Manheim or similar dealer auctions. Maybe they would break even at a public non-dealer auction. Moot point for our OP.
The good thing about this thread is the various opinions and imputs made a lot of us G owners rethink the current value/depreciation of our cars. I'm now at nearly 40K mles on my 2010 X coupe with 2.5 months left on drivetrain warranty. Car is well maintained, but a few issurs have arisen very shortly after the 4/48 warranty expired 7/11/14. Doesn't exactly leave me with the warm fuzzies for long-term reliability and repair expenditures. No extended warranty here.

I had a 2000 I30t for 7 years and the issues I had were while the car was under the 4yr 60k warranty, once the warranty ended there was no issues at all. Sold it, because we wanted a SUV at the time.

One thing I noticed.. after test driving a bunch of G37X AWD coupes this week.. my G37 rear drive seems to drive slightly slightly more sporty.. slight dif in steering feel? I know the rear drive is 200 lbs lighter and 1/2 inch lower to the ground, something I noticed.... I drove another rear drive only to compare. The rear drive feels to me slightly better.

I test drove a 2008 135i with 9,000 miles this past weekend and made it 1 mile before the car went into limp mode and overheated (full throttle, but no power on a main/busy street). I managed to roll off the main street into a neighborhood and waited until the sales guy came to pick me up since I went on the test drive alone. That experience solidified my fear of owning a BMW out of warranty and made me feel all the better driving away in my Nissan.

update
Update.. I notice the dealer doesn't even have the 2013 with 30+ miles listed at all on their website anymore.. I doubt it sold.. It's possible.. They still have another 2012 that has sat for nearly 1.5 yrs plus on their lot..
