I need opinions on cosmetic changes on 08 stock

As you can see I have a white G37. I'm trying to figure out what would look good on customizing the COSMETICS of my G37. I want it to look clean, not trashy. I'm thinking roof black, grill black, rims black, and the underside of the rear bumper (around exhaust where it curves down) to be black as well. Eventually lowering the car a couple inches too. I would only plasti dip the rims/grill. Also unsure if black rims would look good on the white car, if i should just touch up paint the rims, or maybe a gunmetal grey. Looking for honest opinions here, I haven't done anything with this car yet.

Well it looks pretty clean now, nice tints, also looks like the tail lights are tinted. I would not drop it a couple (2) inches, that's pretty low, spawning all sorts of cascading issues (scraping, camber, allignment, etc). For me personally, I'm not a fan of black rims or the black roof. I subscribe to the "more is less" approach. Looks nice and welcome.

Black grill with just the Mt. Fuji symbol chrome looks fantastic IMHO.

Yeah, I did tint the tail lights and switched out the OEM chrome spoiler with the one you see. I definitely like a more simple approach, but I also want it to look slightly more aggressive. Thanks!

I think the stock storm trooper look is played out. I would lower it, black out the grill and either touch up your current wheels or do gun metal. But at the end of the day it's your car and your decision. Go with what you feel/want. It's all reversible anyways since you're doing Plasti dip.

I personally dislike the chrome grill our cars come with; gonna wrap mine at some point. Love the black roof on non black cars if it gives the illusion of a single piece of glass, which it does on the G coupe IMO. And as far as the rear bumper, I think you're referring to the rear valance (correct me if I'm wrong/noob), but I think that looks really good in black. Have you considered a diffuser?

Do what you like!!!

I agree a couple of inches is a problem. I'm about 1.3 inches, and that's plenty low for driving. Honestly, the more I see bagged cars, the more I wanna switch from coilovers to bags. After my friend got his STI done, it's been weighing heavily on me! This being his second bagged vehicle, he swears by the combination of ride comfort and adjustable ride height. However consider upgrading your Interior/exterior lighting, along with your current list of mods.

I also have an 08 Ivory Pearl. I went with the stormtrooper, but my rims are machined on the outside so they give off a nice shine.

Drop it like it's hot. Then start simple with painting the grille. If you want more aggressive, you could do a black mesh or even Stillen style grille as well.

Headlight mods? Rear diffuser?

Maybe gunmetal those wheels and paint the calipers black?

Look into a JP Vizage lip for an aggressive front and talk to ONEighty about custom headlights (the Iron Man LED's are so sick and I get compliments every where I go). I love the idea of wrapping your roof black as I did mine as well (my car is gunmetal gray). Also, look into an AutoKits X rear diffuser kit for an aggressive look from the back. Lowering it with Eibach's is going to look great, but you do lose a little bit of ride comfort. Rims are essential and plastidip is a nice idea for a temporary look, but I recommend Vossen, Giovanna, InCurve, etc. Car looks great now though man and you should have fun doing your build. I sure did!

Gunmetal wheels, im thinking of getting my wheels powder coated in gunmetal. Black grill, LED interior lights is a must. Another small touch for the interior is to replace your map light lenses with the clear GTR lense. http://www.z1motorsports.com/g37_370z/product_info.php?products_id=6920

Here is my first time using plasti dip, I think it looks ok. The color is anthracite gray metallic.
