Let see what the final numbers are, at the end of the day. I'm running strong with my 08 at 70K mileage.

Yea I had a turbo too and mine was good. It's started to have some issues when I went full bolt on and 50% e85 plus meth. Upgraded everything but would have misfires every so often and need new spark plugs.

Nice pics. Wish I had some driving pics like that. All I have are sh!ty ones like these...

Yeah, when you start bolting on FMIC, DP's, etc. and start using aggressive maps with your tune the spark plugs are usually the first to go followed by coils. The tune just pushes the engine that much harder and therefore requires the engine to fire more rapidly and prematurely wears out plugs and coils. Not uncommon, and before anyone else says anything about reliability it has nothing to do with it. Just comes with the tuning territory. The cool thing is with an error code reader and some simple swapping around between coils and plugs you can quickly determine what needs to be replaced.

i'd expect that much from a 4 cylinder these days.
Don't worry too much about the peak Power if you look at the Torque you will see that max torque comes at 1.6K rpm and that is impressive.

i already have a 7 year old car with those factory specs ... on a 4 cylinder.

we can only hope Infiniti puts a giant honking turbo in it, so a simple flash gets it up near 400hp like the Evo. i'm not optimistic, though - that peak torque rpm suggests a small turbo.

I am betting it will be a twin turbo setup. I can't see them making it a single on a V6 from the factory. Most of the factory boosted cars run 2 snails on anything over 4 cyl...i supposed to defeat as much turbo lag as possible and increase efficiency. I really can't think of one that is a single turbo from the factory...can you?

a V6 should have more grunt than a 4-cylinder, so lag shouldn't even matter that much.

I am thinking that the 400hp and 450hp rumors are true. As they would have the lower one with just a 3.0 single turbo at 400hp and then the upgraded top of the line version with the 3.0 twin turbo 450hp!

Early on two turbos were the game, one for low end to remove as much lag as possible and another for everything else. That's how they use to achieve relatively lag free power. The newer trend is using what's called a twin scroll turbo, which is a single turbo that performs as one. It basically has two scrolls instead of one for exhaust which spins the turbine and can be controlled better to alleviate lag. Interested in finding out which method Infiniti uses. Two turbos are better for tuning while a single turbo can get better mpg.

Nice. Yeah, I was running high elevens stock snails and mid 11's when I had RB turbos.

The new M3/4with DCT is insane. They beat GTRs. If Infiniti would try to get up with those cars the price rage will be in the 80k range. The RC-F's are not very fast and they are NA. You're spending extra on those for the Lexus name.

Wow, you went all out with bolt ons. I'm guessing that was a lease, lol. Yeah, the DCT on the M3/4 is seriously good. I believe the only other DCT that even comes close is Porche's PDK. Honestly I wanted the M4, but I just can't believe how much it's price has been inflated. I was reluctantly still going to pull the trigger on one until I found out they were making the M2 and that Infiniti was getting serious. So now that the M2 has been reveled I'm just waiting for the Q60 to put it cards down so I can choose one.

I've never had any type of car loyalty but have been in a BMW for the past 14 years, my first one was a 330ci. If Infiniti makes a worthy car I will buy it. I hope they do, the change is welcomed by me.
