a stripped down AWD Q60 coupe is $43,500. we're talking NO options and NO accessories. that would not be a fun car to own, when the average Kia has more features.

a Q60S Limited *starts* at $50,555. add some options, you're pushing $60k.

a TT V6 is NOT going to be less than that. (I HOPE IT IS, THOUGH!!!!!)

you add some packages and a couple accessories to a TT V6, and i could easily see it in the $60-70k range.

Just so you know, a Q60S *Limited* is some bullsh*t model. Its another name for the stupid f*cking overpriced IPL. Im not even counting this model as real life.

The Q60S 6MT starts $46,050. The standard 6MT has EVERYTHING you will need. All the packages except the Tech package are forced as standard on the 6MT. I do not expect the TT V6 to sway too far from 46K.

Remember. Infiniti has to be competitive to win.

do you honestly think a TT V6 is going to be the SAME price as the current NA V6? it's going to be above the current "bull****" S Limited I can assure you. they will try to stay "competitive" with the NA V6, but the TT will come at a premium.

yup, I bought a first year (2002) WRX and (2005) Legacy GT ... never again. no more being a guinea pig on turbo cars again. I'll let them iron out the bugs.

Id expect no more of a premium than say the jump from a 328 > 335i back in 2008 or whatever. Funny now that 328i's can actually fetch more money than a similar mileage/condition 335 now (comparing AT to AT), but that's a turbo setup + age for ya.

The next IPL will likely be a truer performance car than the previous to compete with the M, AMG "F" lines. That will likely mean mid/ upper 60K for a nicely equipped model.

^^^I would agree with this. The last IPL was a "joke" in comparison to other in house performance optioned cars. Its HP was no a huge bump, especially taking in to count drive train loss, and personally the "body kit" left something to be desired. I think this time you will end up with a HP number that warrants the extra money & a less cartoonish exterior package. That to me would make it a viable option, although, if there is an S model with 400hp for like 15-20k less that would be the route I would take.

That is the price range I was thinking. If the upgraded top of the line version, (IPL) whatever they decide to call it, has at least 400+ hp, then I think 60-65K is reasonable. This is really the only version I am interested in!

I don't think anyone is arguing it won't cost more. It's an entirely new platform so that's a given. I just argue how much more. To be competitive you price the car accordingly or else you don't sell. At the end of the day it's all market driven. I cannot see anyone paying the same or more for a Q60 than an Audi, Bimmer or MB. Only after Infiniti has proven itself as a brand and the cars they make can they seek higher prices.

VQ + Turbo? The VQ has oil burning issues as-is. Hopefully they've learned from their rev-up mishaps? Basically increasing the rev but using the same pistons and rods as the non rev-ups...

You're typical not going to find a 48k 435. You would probably have to order one that was so basic to get that low price. The 4 series has so many options to add, such as m sport package, nav, which drives the actual price. Wheras the G in the past comes either in a sport with everything or non sport with nothing. I'd like to see the Sport version of the Q low 50's and non sport low 40's.

either way, im not buying new. the xS i bought used CPO lost around $25k in two years and 27k miles off its sticker price.

i'll wait for the bugs to get worked out of the 2016/17, then wait for the bottom to drop out of a used 2018. that gives me 5 years with my 2013, which is typically how long i keep a car.
