Regarding the rear, reflectors/inserts are stupid. And why, oh why, the huge gap where the license plate resides? To fit a second one! LOL.

I guess the reason why they are charging more for RS is mostly try and see what goes wrong and in the mean time don't lose money because I don't think what they did to the car justifies 7K difference.
I also believe that reliability will depend strongly on how much you push the car to the limits. I think if you track this thing it may spend a considerable amount of time in the shop.

What is important is the unspeakables that you are surely to engage in every once in a while at those lights that illuminate red . And cars and coffee bragging rights. Cant forget those.

The biggest mod to the G37 was a turbo or supercharger, where the tranny needed to be upgraded with it anyway. This car already has an engine that is twin turbocharged from the factory. Some simple mods, and a tune would be relatively easy compared to the work needed for the G37's VQ.
So the biggest aftermarket mod for the Q60 is going to be a transmission one. Another one can be getting bigger turbos for more power. Rumors say the R36 GTR is going to get the same engine, but probably tweeked. Studying the mods for that engine and applying them to this model should also help in easily achieving more power gains. since the engine class is going to be the same, a factory stock twin turbo charged VR.
Aftermarket DCTs, 6MTs, and built 7ATs. If the aftermarket was smart, that's what they would prepare for, advertise it and willing enthusiasts will jump on it.

My current 2015 Q60 is bone stock. Other than tint. It did have a Sports exhaust for like a week.
My 2006 G35 was also bone stock. But it was fully loaded. 6mt with Rear active steer. That thing hugged the curved like nothing. Very smooth to when switching lanes back and forth at high speed. (I avoided being sideswiped once while some idiot was pulling out of a driveway while going 45mph or so. Did an emergency lane change at the very last sec. And the car was in complete control I didn't even press on the brakes. Just turn right to avoid the car coming at me on the left, and then turned back left to get back on my lane and avoid the car on my right. It all happened so quick.
I miss RAS! Much preferred over DAS.

Good luck retrofitting a DCT in Q60. Your costs may be as high as the car itself...

Like how AMS built the best aftermarket VR twin turbo engine and they sell their custom built block separately on their website. It's like 2-3 grand, and it was AMS, not Nissan, that developed the fastest VR engine at 2000HP
