Or if Nissan doesn't feel like using the VR in the Z then it's out of luck

Well the Z already did share the G model's VQ, along with many other cars, so Nissan may put this new VR into the new Z as well. However I have heard rumors that Nissan may also use this new VR engine in the next Nissan GTR model. If that is true, i highly doubt Nissan will be using a premium level engine in 3 different cars.
The reason why the Q60 even got this new revised VR is because it's actually a skyline. Skylines and GTRs have always had an intimate relationship although Nissan has recently separated GTR and skyline GTR nomenclature.
So I'm not sure what is going to happen to the Z, if it will get the new VR as well, or a proper twin turbo VQ, like the VQ30DETT that was used in the 2001 JGTC for the R34. I don't know

As for the GTR, this VR will be the basis of the next GTR but will probably be bundled with a hybrid assist.

Oh awesome, I was thinking that chrome surround was actually a separate piece of trim not attached to the grill. If this is the OEM midnight grill or, hell even aftermarket, then combined with the CF package it would look really good!
Where did you find that?

The Red Sport Q60 AWD is showing up on the build page on the Canadian website...
The website is probably all screwy but right now the only package available is the technology package (which doesn't ask you add the DAS) and choosing the red interior automatically adds the tech package.

It seems that the RS in Canada will come with Drivers Assist and Premium Package standard......... I wonder if that means it will also come that way for the US? $61k Canadian means USA would be closer to $58k....... If you can get it in the US with out those options, then hoping $54k awd base?
61k Canadian to usa is like 47k but that doesn't mean anything.

Whomever is in charge of the Q60 is taking some inspiration from people who blackout their cars. Which explains the black and silver wheels. I'm surprised they didn't do the black time attacks on the lip, all black taillights, debadge rear trunk, and of course Volsen wheels, to finish it off.
Because it's all about being original!

Yeah that is none of those items that if you have negotiation skills that you could get the dealer to provide and install it for free. That with the carbon fiber package should make it look pretty slick.

I do. Black and Chrome is very classy. I would like to see what the difference is between midnight and obsidian.
