I think it looks really good in black, contrary to what some others have said

Seems to me since the muscle cars like Camaro became a true sports car, handlingwise, Infiniti is trying make the new Q60 a true "muscle car" to fill the hole.

Any type of steering system would be better with better tires.

But DAS only affects the steering feel and response. I haven't seen 1 video of DAS working the cones. Showing how DAS an "upgrade" over hydraulic system when it comes to performance and handling. Not just "how it feels"

Well, I did see one from a magazine review and it was a complete fail.lol

BTW, if DAS was so awesome, why did Infiniti re-engineer the 2nd generation to mimic the "conventional steering system". I mean yeah, Lets spend $2500 to get something the hydraulic system already offers!

And yes, my previous car was a Q50 with DAS. It was garbage.

This leads me to think that there will be a halo model that includes a LSD. guess they have to leave a reason for people to by an IPL or whatever they will call it.

I have heard that DAS was greatly improved over the previous generation- but still feels slightly artificial in slalom type situations.. But I guess they figure how many people are going to drive like that in a daily driver.

If I get the Q60 I will opt not to have the DAS or tech package. I think that Premium plus and driver assistance will probably be the most poplar combinations on the RS400.

This is what I figured from the very beginning. There is a body kit made for the Q60 and I thought it was curious that it was not offered on the RS version and that all the Q60's look the same pretty much, but then it made since that the body kit was made for the top of the line version, which will be out after the RS. Then after seeing the VLSD which was offered on the previous sport version of the G/Q was removed from the RS, it confirmed what I have been thinking. Hopefully they stick with the IPL name as I like the way it sounds and it is already trademarked.

This one was at the local dealership for a day.
The emblem up front is flat on the tech package because that's where the distance sensor is located.
The non-tech package equipped cars get a raised emblem that illuminates

Where do you see that? I think I've only seen that on the concept.

I would think the flat emblem would be the one that illuminates...no?

Well I will not give the link where motortrend chose Camaro ss over a frigging M4 again since it is being deleted by the moderator but your answer is Yes, the new Camaro is actually a true sports car which is a biig surprise.

Btw, I like the picture of Q60 above, I think it looks really good.

The site still says nothing about the weight , information is appreciated on that.

I understand what you are saying, the original American muscle cars were basically crazy horsepower being delivered raw and uncensored to the rear wheels, which is exactly what is going on here with the new Q50/60. LSD was later added to these cars to increase traction of the rear wheels in relation to the road thereby preventing wheel spin, increasing wheel contact with the road and aiding in forward propulsion.
This meant that HP would not be lost through slipping tires and wheels.

How it would effect drifting I am not sure.

I meant the original American muscle cars, before LSD was introduced to them. Positraction LSD was introduced later in the mid 60s to 70s to these cars.
