A little hating no Android Auto. Wish the Q50 / Q60 would be more halo car, closer to a G37 with GTR motor. Lots in the market to look at around $50-60K that I didn't consider before because THEY had electric steering, stereo motor sound, and NO ANDROID AUTO! LMAO
Q50 Might still be my next choice. Depends on the competition and Infiniti.

but that would totally hurt sales for the Q60. Although I do like the Q60's styling alot more now.
If you want that Skyline GTR feel with your current gen, why not just go forced induction on your current naturally aspirated VQ V6. it will cost you though, even if you had the new twin turbo VR V6 for transplant, the G37 (or its VQ for that matter) weren't built for FI. But making 330 HP just NA is pretty remarkable for a V6.

Why Nissan/infiniti did not add LSD to a 400HP RWD car? Not just for 0-60 but other on road practical purposes. The wheel spin was absent in AWD I believe.

Gill, motor swaps aren't for me... well maybe a Scarab. :-) When I said "Wish the Q50 / Q60 would be more halo car, closer to a G37 with GTR motor. "
I'm saying I think the current Q50 is the next G37 and the twin turbo motor is more like a GTR than a G37. But, not as much as the Rouge. Electric steering, is nice for some, even the stereo enhanced exhaust sound may be for some Infiniti buyers. But, I'd prefer Android Auto, another 50hp and LSD instead at this price.

I believe that extra power and displacement from the original VR engine was modified to make the car seem more affordable and practical to the everyday driver, because it is much more efficient, while still pumping out a healthy 400HP. I am positive that Nissan/Infiniti could have pushed this new VR much further to achieve greater power, but it may have sacrificed the practicability of cost for the majority of drivers. I am sure third party tuners and Horse power nuts will end up squeezing max power from this formidable new VR block, and I bet Infiniti/Nissan expects people to further tweek the engine, but they have done their job in creating an affordable and decently powered twin turbo setup for majority of drivers. What people do to the power after purchase is their business.
In this regard, taking the time to further refine the VR V6 engine, was worth it and time well spent for Nissan/Infiniti. The greater efficiency while retaining comparable power is a positive end result for the time, effort, and money spent by the company developing this engine.

i dont know..can customers live without it? the video reviews I've seen, a lot of people liked the wheels slipping. They thought it was the car wanting to go sideways and be more aggressive and sporty. did infiniti do it on purpose for this reason??
this guy here is talks about the rear wheel traction, i dont think he realizes there is no LSD. @1:55
this one talks about how the car "wants to kick out the rear end." again most likely due to lack of LSD @4:15

With that much power and torque LSD is a benefit when pulling out assertively in traffic situations - especially tight right turns.
I bet they are using active trace control/ braking to compensate for no LSD. But it's just not the same; it doesn't work as consistently.

I would have thought the same too man.
But I also would have thought they would have kept extended thigh bolsters, a fuller stock exhaust note (instead of video game exhaust sounds through the speakers), hydraulic steering option, signature rounded tails etc
It seems they are trying to depart from the previous generations with the new coupe.
LSD was one of the major selling points for me vs the 335 which didn't have it as an option. But what do I know. The 3 series sells like hot cakes
