I will say from my experience driving the red sport, tires are going to be a must! The right wheel and tire setup will do this vehicle wonders. Infiniti needs to get their head out of their asses and ditch the runflats.
On a side now, we sell the shiznits out of the tire and wheel package. No questions asked replacement for wheels and tires. Will cover aftermarket 2" bigger too. We got some massive potholes in the Midwest.

Nice review Twin_Snails. Glad to see the beefed up the tire size all the way around. The RWD cars are going to be traction challenged. Hoping they made some additional changes to hook up the rear. I guess the M3 crowd has the same issue. It's really going to be fun to see the options and play with the online builder. I think it's going to be a long time before we see a good selection of aftermarket suspension parts and even longer for the AWD model. Pray the new (if there is one) 370Z, or whatever they call it, is based on the same chassis again.

I agree on the aftermarket. Even on the '14 - '15 Q50, the aftermarket offerings are pretty thin.
I'm very torn right now between picking up a '15 Q50S that I've worked a smoking deal on, or waiting a while to pick up one of the RS 400's.
As far as I know, there aren't any Q60's on any lots that I've seen yet. However, they are in transit so it shouldn't be too long until they are.

I was playing with the Q50 Red Sport configurator on the Infiniti site and have to say I'm deeply disappointed. The direct adaptive steering which is supposed to be a big improvement over the old system is not a stand alone add on like we were hearing in some of the reviews. It requires $5900 in add ons and you can't even get it with the aluminum trim. One must select the maple wood trim. And it's maple wood dyed to look like walnut in color. Just weird. At least it "looks" like curly or quilt maple but the pattern almost looks fake.
So if you're not willing to shell out another $6K, or want the aluminum trim, you get a car that steers like ****. Nice move Infiniti! Maybe it'll be different for the coupe but I highly doubt it.

i noticed that a while ago.
WTF does trim have to do with DAS or the Technology package (not that i'd want that .... ) ?!?!?!?

I agree, these pictures are the best so far .... only thing that slightly bugs me is the "blunt" front end, maybe if the grill was a bit smaller. Regardless, not a show stopper.

The big question is whether or not the 5k+ extra you have to pay for the DAS is worth it when DAS itself is actually only a $1000 dollar option.
