Color change samples - give feedback!

I've been bouncing around the idea of getting my car wrapped for probably a year now. I finally spent a few hours really going through all the materials and colors available from the big companies (arlon, avery and 3m) and ordered some samples of colors I thought I might like. I also went through a bunch of sample books when I got my roof wrapped, and I really also like "red aluminum" but don't have a sample here to show, so I'll add in a picture of a genesis coupe at the bottom that I fell in love with.

I wanted to do something different that stands out, like the red aluminum or even the brushed red aluminum that looks pretty sick also and includes some texture. I like a wide variety of colors, but I'm less inclined for black, white and silver since Ive owned a black and silver car and it seems like 90% of florida is white cars.

So here are the pics. I'd like to see what peoples opinions are on different colors. I already have my top 3 chosen and i went through about 5 other samples that got scratched off the list before i even tested them on the car. Its for me hard to imagine the entire car one of these colors and causing me a lot of confusion

color list from left to right starting at bottom:
matte lagoon blue metallic, candy citrine, frozen black chrome, matte copper metallic, gloss orange pearl, gloss candy electric lime, matte emerald metallic, matte red metallic and mate dark red metallic.
All the materials seem like a wonder to work with, except for frozen black chrome. there is VERY limited stretch with this which may lead to more seams to work out the curvature of the car... i.e. higher chance of peeling

You'll also notice on the matte blue, green, red and copper that there is a sharp line and the right edge stands out. I taped it off and waxed the right side with meguiars ultimate quick detailer. I wanted to see how a glossifier affected the matte material and i love it. from an angle the mattle vinyls have almost a dull white tint on top - the quick detailer got rid of it and make the color richer and more refined, while still keeping the matte look. you'll see in the red aluminum below how it is kinda fuzzy white and dull in some angles... I think i'd probably always use a wash with wax in it to keep the more refined look for a richer color.

I like the blue, would look good w/ your gunmetal accents.

I've also been considering a wrap for a while, I also had several samples sent my way and I really like the Avery Supreme Matte Night Blue Metallic, if I end up doing this that will be my choice.

G/L w/ your decision, so many choices out there

My favorite for your car with your black accents and dark wheels (gunmetal) is the red metallic. I think it would really work well with all of the black emblems and grill + dark tint you have. The only catch would be slightly tinting the tails to pull it all together with a whole red/black look due to the similar color of the stock tails vs. the red vinyl. My second choice would be the blue. Good Luck and be sure to post follow up pics if/when you go through with it!!!

When I was pricing wrap vinyl it was in the $550 to 600 range for enough to wrap w/ some left over for f-ups. I've heard installs ranging from $1500 to 2000 range (on top of the cost of the vinyl)

Vexed from what I understand from a local guy, it will cost about 1750 - 2000 as blnewt said. Thats material and labor. But it will highly vary by material. I've been quoted chrome wraps (black, blue, green etc) for close to $5k because the material is real expensive and there is a lot of labor involved because the material is a pain in the *** to work with.

I think the frozen black chrome here will likely be closer to $2500-$3000 because material costs a little more, but the labor will be longer -- and like i said there will probably be a lot more seams and potential for peeling.

However, I did just grab a business car from a local Dipper from a car event on friday - and full car Dips for a 2dr coupe are like $750 which really got me thinking because I saw some cars he did and they looked amazing, with virtually no imperfections or overspray... but I don't think dip is for me.

Matte Lagoon Blue Metallic looks very good in person, I've seen that IPL G at local shows/meets and its very nice. The red on the GTR is not bad either.
