Dash question?

I recently purchased an 08 G37s. When I got it home I noticed a sticky residue all over the dash. Probably from a adhesive used to secure a dash mat. I tried to get it off with water but no luck. Before I start with simple green or something else that might stain the dash, any ideas? Thanks.

Does the G37s have any problems with "dash melt"? Just trying to narrow the issue down.

Try Goo Gone its safe on leather and doesnt stain. I took the adhesive from the badges off with it.

No but I was saying that it was fine to put it on leather so it should be fine to put it on the dash since is some type of rubber.

any kind of adhesive can be removed with dawn dishwashing liquid. dab it on with a paper towel and let sit for 5 minutes and it should wipe off easily.
