IPL Rear Bumper Question

Hey everyone,

So I recently purchased the IPL rear bumper and it came without holes, but I need holes since I have a 2011. I was wondering if anyone knows of a template for where to cut the holes. I used the search and found that most people seem to have the opposite problem I do (getting a bumper with holes when they don't want it). Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

When I purchased mine comes without holes to but have little template for the hole size not where to cut the holes. I just cut the holes in same places as my old bumper OEM.

I thought the holes for sensors weren't perfect circles, but instead had two sides that were straight and two sides that were curved (correct me if I'm wrong). How did you cut that shape out? Thanks

Look inside the bumper cover, there might be an outline in the mold.

I looked and there isn't, unfortunately.

I did the same mod a month ago. The inside of the bumper should have the outline if purchased from Infiniti (look carefully), my friend just used a dremel to drill the holes for me. And yes you are right, they are not perfect circles. Best way is to drill slowly until your sensor can fit in there, doesn't have to be perfect as the ring covers it. If for some reason you can't find it the template, I would suggest matching to your old bumper. The wire should be long enough to allow a little bit of wiggle room, though it might not be perfectly matched if done this way.

I tackled the installation last night and I did end up finding the outline with more light (didn't look hard enough the first time), thanks for the info though. I kind of messed up a little bit and made one hole half a millimeter too big so you can see it if you really look for it, but I'll get over it (I hope... OCD).

Maybe you want to pay a bodyshop to do it for you at most $50 ~ $100 if you don't wanna ****up the paint.
