Interesting... I bought my G37x Coupe from Infiniti Clarendon Hills in September. Graphite Shadow as well with Premium and Navigation. I didn't get the sport package since I got a killer deal on one of the last 2013 models.

New 2013 G37x Coupe Graphite Shadow/Graphite/Premium/Navigation - $38,600

I would count them as rare. Probably not as rare as an IPL, but likely the next most uncommon configuration for these cars. Unless it was debadged, I've never seen an XS coupe in person and only seen XS sedans a few times in person.

Did you really!? I loved it there. Jeff Walker took care of me...awesome guy. I felt very comfortable buying from there and all their cars seem great (even their certified pre-owned) I would recommend this place to anyone in the Chicago area. Are you near Chicago?

I also had a very good experience there. I live in Frankfort and work in Lemont. The Orland Infiniti is closest to me, but one sales guy ruined their chance of earning my business. The Clarendon Hills Infiniti was my next and final stop.

Great looking car Ryne. I went in there looking for Liquid Platinum but once I saw Graphite shadow in person I had to have it. I guess the owner of the dealership was driving it for awhile and didn't want to give it up (well he did - it's a sale) but I love mine. Now if only this weather would improve so I can have some fun with it.

P.S. Loving the Blackhawks license plate.

Thanks! Yeah, you definitely got a nice car and I'm sure he didn't want to give it up but any owner who would turn down a sale......

Lucky for you though, a lot of people probably didn't see the car with the owner driving it, which let it stick around long enough for you to grab it.

It is definitely a fun car but you tend to lose most of the fun when your main goal is to keep it out of ditches, lol.

P.S. Graphite Shadow > Liquid Platinum

Any plans for upgrades/mods for your car. My tints right now are 35% but I like 20%. Do you think i could get away with 20% in the city...let alone Illinois??

Do you have any good places near Chicago that you would trust to take your G to (in terms of upgrades, mods, etc.)???

I currently have the Infiniti Sport Muffler installed, Aluminum Sport Pedals, Escort radar hardwired and mounted on the mirror, and the OEM spoiler (still in the box).

I plan on tinting soon as well. My friend has 20% on the back windows and 30% on the fronts. It looks good and he hasn't had any issues with the police. All 20% would be pushing your luck.

I have been recommended to go to the place below by another Illinois forum member (Fezzik):

http://projectxcustoms.com

I looked at their website and it looks like they work on a lot of Nissan/Infinitis. They are located in Schaumburg.
