I like the M56 Shifter just a tad more!

I just picked up a 2009+ GTR **** myself. Going to be doing this mod in the next few weeks. I think this **** looks/fits perfect in the G and looks far better than my stock on that's deteriorating from previous owner.

How do you detach the boot from the shift **** in case you have to take anything apart now that it's glued together? I may be looking for a different solution to connect the two (maybe a thin tight interlocking ring of velcro on each part.

I have received numerous PMs asking details on how I modified the shafts to install my GTR ****... I have taken some pics with measurements which I hope will address everyone's questions. See attachments...

BTW this mod is irreversible, and can go wrong if you cut the wrong things! So please study the pics first before attempting... and feel free to ask questions.

Since my original post I have repainted the top of the GTR **** to match my paint; i think it looks pretty sharp, and I still love this mod!
