Amen to that. The Mustang GT and Camaro SS have fantastic numbers, and good reviews. But then you drive one, and remember why you don't own American Muscle anymore.

Yeah, I briefly considered a used vette or a GT Mustang. But American muscle cars just don't do it for me.

I've had friends in the past with Mustangs and Camaros, and although they were plenty fast and powerful, I just never could get excited about these cars.

And besides, when you go to the track or a car show, everybody and their brother owns one.. Nothing really special about em for me.

My husband had fallen in love with the wrx and the rx8.. well after driving both then my little girl he is looking at picking one up..

My only stipulation is he isnt allowed to have the faster car.

My boss has a 2012 BOSS 302 mustang. Its some kind of limited model. I admit that I love his car till I drove it one day. What a rough ride. Fast as heck but not comfortable at all. No, I'll keep to American made trucks and Jap / German engineered cars. I can't seem to get my head around that Audi S5 coupe. Beautiful machines.

I agree with both desertmike680, and jmann.

My next is a GTR, Ive spoken to GTR owners, and they are far from DBags!
But the wingnut effect is worse.

Oh my god if I could afford it I would be in a C7 right now. Arctic White, Black Wheels, Z51 and Mag ride, 2LT, dual exhaust, and a giant boner in my lap.

But it would go like stink. That it would. So that's something, I suppose. And I'd have to get it in gun-metal, with black trim, so it doesn't stand out like a clown car.

Anybody see the resemblance after the B-pillar to the Genesis Coupe and the Subby BRZ? I see it.

BRZ isn't a bad looking looking car but falls into the category .... not nearly as fast as the looks would indicate .... 0-60 in 7 secs for the Auto .... a second less for the manual. Wonder what they are doing wrong with the tranny that there is that much difference between the two.

Wanted a gtr, couldn't swing it. If I were single with no mortgage, maybe I could have swung a pre owned one.
I live in the northeast & get all kinds of bad weather.
Awd with a turbo in the snow is amazing.
It's only a 1/3 of the price, so I comprised.
Ugly interior amazing prowess & power level.
Warranty is a problem if you mod heavily.
If it had a sick interior with a German brand it would be 2x the price.
Even though the TC- sst is a getrag unit made in Germany.
The ride is stiff, but if you like handling.
Take a ramp & just hit boost in the turn, it's so much fun.

Drove my brother in laws Range Rover Supercharged the other day. He's only had it maybe 3 years.

Leather on the seats cracked and discolored. Brakes were terrible. Ride wasn't that smooth. Acceleration wasn't that smooth either. And the dash layout of all the buttons was pretty random.

Very disappointing for a $80K vehicle.
