After a few years of ownership, sometimes I wonder if I should have went with that Audi S5 coupe.
I wanted to pay cash and the S5 was out of my range at the time.
V8 growl, better sound system, better interior.

The G has given me a few problems, but overall a great car.

My next ride will be a 4 door coupe -> A7, 650 GC or CLS
Keeping the G, though.

After owning a G coupe for a year and the amount of money dished out for gas, I would have to say mini cooper S.

I love my G to death. If I had the money I would go for a GTR and mod that out (and keep the G as a DD).

Realistically though, if I get another car it will most likely be the Q60 as long as the redesign is not god aweful.

The Q60 will really have to blow me away to make me want to trade the G for one. I still plan on keeping this car forever. I hope I still feel that way a few years from now. If I had it to do over again, the only thing I might do differently is try to get a better deal on the same car. I test drove a Genesis coupe 3.8 before I got my G, also an A5 and CTS coupe. The CTS was a really nice car, sometimes I think I could have been happy driving one of those, at least more comfortable. Definitely would have gone that route if I could have gotten a CTS-V for the same money. Basically I didn't want to rush into getting the G before I considered other options, but nothing else really did it for me the way the G did and still does.

Great ????

I love my G. I have been fortunate in different times to have corvettes and even had an 08 Cayman S. Cayman S by far the best car I ever owned, but lacked power in 08 with only 290 HP. The power of the g is awesome, looks are timeless, very comfortable, and practical with 4 seats. Bought a 2010 for $25k with 41000 miles. Im happy! If money was not an option, m3 would be my choice.

Well great, this is what I wanted to hear. Everyone seems pretty happy with their G's.

As far as after the G, we got some votes for Porsche, BMW and Audi. Seems pretty par for the course, as far as car enthusiasts go.

So I guess I will 'settle' for a G37 now, and dream about a GT-R or Porsche in my future.

Probably would be a good idea to start getting Car and Driver and MotorTrend again, so I can keep up with all the new vehicles coming out.

Infiniti G37 Sports coupe/sedan isn't really the right vehicle if you are going after a low cost commuter with good gas mileage. But I'm sure you already knew that.

And I've been driving a Toyota Sequoia for the past 4 years, so for me the G is going to be a pretty good increase in gas mileage.

If there's gonna be an RX-9, I may go back to the rotary engine. My previous car was an RX-8 and I enjoyed driving it more than my current G37 coupe. As of now, I think I'm gonna keep my car for a long time, however, unless I HAVE to get a new one for some reasons. Hopefully, the totally new Q60 will be better.

I read AutoBlog.com, daily. A few times throughout the day, actually.

But I still have subscriptions to Motortrend and C&D. There's something about a glossy magazine that's still appealing.

I'll have to add that to my list of bookmarked favorites, and make it part of my daily/nightly web surfing routine.

I've had subscriptions to those 2 mags for years. Haven't had them for a while though. I agree, I enjoy the magazines still. Nice to have when on a flight or in a waiting room etc. Smartphones and tablets are nice, but I still like looking at an actual magazine at times.

Never really got into the RX-7 or RX-8. Although I have seen some pretty sick RX-7s back in the day.

If Infiniti were to stay w/ it's G path of reliable performance over techno gadgetry and common styling I think I would add a third Infiniti. If the latest Q sedan is what I have to look forward to I'll just keep my G as my grocery-getter and look for a nice used C7 Vette or like a few others have mentioned a used Cayman S. The MB CLA-AMG also peaks my interest, and the Jag F-type is really getting some nice reviews and is gorgeous IMO.
